Early golfing memories centred on Blairgowrie Golf Club, 45 holes set in glorious heather and pines in Perthshire, Scotland. 10 years in London as a Stockbroker included many weekends at the Berkshire Golf Club and other fine courses in the South of England and a wealth of introductions to golfers keen to explore the variety of courses in Great Britain and Ireland. Returning to Scotland in 1990, continuing in the financial sector, I then took the position of Tournament Executive at Loch Lomond Golf Club in the development of the Scottish Open which opened many doors at a senior level of sponsorship.

In 2001, the time was right to set up Golf Activity Limited, and for the last 24 years we have enjoyed delivering bespoke tours of the highest quality to a wide variety of clients on both sides of the Atlantic.

Oliver Mennie, Tour Operations Manager

I started my golf journey from the age of 3!  Being taught by my father over the years at the Golf House Club in Elie, my passion for the great game really grew.

After studying Business Management and Golf at university, I worked all over the world in areas related to the golf tourism industry. I’ve worked caddying (The Old Course, Dumbarnie, Royal Dornoch and Old Collier, Naples, FL), managed a ski tourism business in Switzerland and lastly, running a hotel and restaurant in Fife, all while playing golf on some unbelievable golf courses.

This knowledge and skills have set me up perfectly to understand how to perfect our tours and offer clients the trip of a lifetime.

Fun fact, as a Scotsman, I played Augusta National before I played The Old Course.
